Vaccines and COVID-19: don’t wait for ‘the best’

Vaccine

There have been lot of debate about whether vaccine one has got is the best or not, but what is more important is to understand vaccines aren’t suppose to make one immune from infection but to give our immune response enough data about the virus beforehand to turn the tide in our favor. Think of vaccine like mock drills which prepare us when disaster strikes. Decrease is hospitalization for severe infection and decreased mortality are two most important aspects almost all vaccines are good at. So next time you get any crazy video on WhatsApp explaining how vaccine is going cause auto-antibodies leading to firing of your kidneys or going to turn you in monkey just delete it.
